About Stories
How Stories Emerge
Seeking: Most of us have had experiences that lead us to seek answers about life beyond the usual paths of human understanding. People refer to this seeking process as a journey, a quest, spiritual work, religion, odyssey, etc.

Change: Some of us are simply curious, adventurous, or fascinated with inspiring if not dramatic experiences. Maybe they have seen someone change their old ways and adopt new ideas or beliefs that enliven them and/or give them peace.
Narrative-Creating Experience: Often this seeking and curiosity about life-altering experience coalesces or come together into a kind of narrative about themselves and their lives. This pattern of awareness is beyond what we might call a biography or a collection of descriptions about activities. On this website we simply speak of our stories.

Your Story
Writing / Telling Your Story: This is not a biography or mini biography. You don't go into all details about your past including the bad news. Some of our stories tell of experiences or struggles and conflicts that have led us to to the outer limits of our own abilities, skills, or talents. All human beings have limitations, as hard as it might be to recognize or admit them. Please keep reading...
Soul: We believe every human person has a soul, a divine or creative spark within themselves. On this website, particularly in the blog we present people's sagas that led them to God and about their walk with him. Most of these stories are written by Christians about their encounters with God and their embrace of Jesus Christ, often simply because of his extraordinary humanity. Some of us want to describe how God has been in our lives and what that has done to and for us.
Transformation: A key aspect of our stories is how we came to a belief and affection for this person. Jesus, who we believe is also a divine person. What most of our stories have in common is a growing and changing process. For most, but not all of us, it is not one dramatic event, but a series of learning experiences that caused us to become transformed or transfigured in our minds and spirits and more united to our souls. Some of us say that we found or rediscovered our true selves.
