Introduction

Once you have written your story, you are encouraged to submit your story (witness/testimony) about your spiritual journey. Following the Guidelines and Prompts below will make it more likely that your story will be selected for posting (publication) on the blog.

For many of us our stories were about difficulties, ups and downs, and scatterings of darkness and light. That is the way oue post on the blog - by LoneStarPilgrim - goes. Some postings might be from people who are curious about and hopefully open to Christianity and Jesus Christ. The editor will be moderating all submissions before they are posted to avoid scams, political speech, profanity, and toxic herranges. Also, only stories by subscribers will be considered.

 

Guidelines / Prompts for Writing Your Story
Below are some questions/items to help you write or tell your story. Answer the questions that help you tell your story. Some of them overlap so be flexible in your choices and answers. These items are here to seed your imagination and activate "the writer or storyteller" in you.

• Describe your first impression of God. How old were you? Where were you? What happened in that place?

• Who or what helped you understand the person of Jesus Christ? Describe the situation.

• What happened in your life that validated/bolstered or discredited/damaged your relationship with God / Jesus Christ

• How has God made himself real to you?

• What is God doing in your life?

• How has God continued to work in your life, in your heart?

• Think of a time you had difficulty believing or trusting God. What did that look like? Describe challenges/stumbles in your faith journey.

• What was the resolution of that crisis of faith?If you had a born again experience, describe it? How and when were you saved?

• How did you come to Jesus Christ? How has Jesus Christ acted in your life?
